Checklist
Affected app version
1.4.0
Affected Android/Custom ROM version
Android 16 / GrapheneOS
Affected device model
Pixel 8
How did you install the app?
F-Droid / IzzyOnDroid
Steps to reproduce the bug
- Go to the Storage tab in the bottom taskbar.
- Tap on images.
- Change view type to Grid, and check "Use for this folder only" from the top 3 dots menu.
- Sort by Last Modified, Descending, and check "Use for this folder only" from the sort menu next to the search.
- Restart the app by force closing. (not sure if necessary - if you still don't see the bug, try switching sort options randomly until it happens.)
- Observe bug
Expected behavior
Thumbnails should be larger and date text should be hidden.
Actual behavior
Thumbnails are tiny (the size they would be in the list view mode), and the 3-dot menu doesn't have the "Toggle filename visibility" and "Column count" options it would normally have in grid view, until you switch to list and back to grid (which also doesn't fix the bug and toggling filenames does nothing).
My guess is that it somehow gets confused which view it's in.
Screenshots/Screen recordings
Additional information
Sorting by size (descending) displays thumbnails correctly, but switching to size (ascending) gets them bugged again, it's like completely random.
