My Issue/Suggestion

Please add information on how to upgrade the Mendix Service Console.

For example, if we are currently using Mendix Service Console 4.8.0 and want to upgrade to 4.8.3, are the following steps correct?
I searched for the Mendix DOCS but couldn't find it. Could you please provide the URL?

My current understanding is as follows:

  1. Download Mendix Service Console 4.8.3.
  2. Stop the Mendix application in Mendix Service Console and exit Mendix Service Console. (However, do not uninstall.)
  3. Take a backup as a precaution. (Assuming the application settings will be carried over.)
Backup target: Mendix Service Console settings, DB
  4. Run the downloaded Mendix Service Console 4.8.3 installer and perform an overwrite installation.
  5. Start Mendix Service Console and launch the application.
Also, for licensed applications, is my understanding correct that the license key remains in the Mendix Service Console settings?

This may be based on an unwritten rule, but end-users may feel uneasy and hesitate to upgrade to the latest module if this information isn't included.

Please add this information.
