A bit late, and I don't have a clear working solution, but might have a potential approach to try:
There's https://github.com/sickcodes/Docker-OSX - seems like it might be a valid (yet hackish, might not be stable, and probably not fully legal in terms of creating a valid, legal Mac application) approach to look into - probably creating and publishing a prebuilt, optimized and tailor-made image for react native from a base image might get it working.
