I did some cursory testing of the build from this PR in both Android 36.1 and 37 emulators and it seems to work fine in both. Not sure what else we want to do with this before landing? |

I'd be keen to land this when I'm back online - I don't think I want to field test this while relying on it too. 😄 |

I didn't test this locally, but I'm willing to let it land and test the updates when it lands.
